11 - Bridge and highway engineers / Highway and bridge engineers
Bridge and highway engineers are professionals with specialized knowledge in bridges and roadways. Their work primarily involves design inspection, structural analysis, planning, supervising, and the construction and repair of bridges and roads to ensure safety and efficiency. They also integrate computer science to design various structures appropriately and optimally.
12 - Hydroelectric engineers / Hydropower engineers
Hydroelectric engineers are individuals who research, design, construct, plan, and maintain power plants, which include dams, water-related power generation facilities, and more. Additionally, hydroelectric engineers formulate strategies and develop plans to ensure sufficient energy production, while analyzing the environmental impacts on the surrounding areas.
